    The National Association for Public Defense (NAPD) vehemently condemns the actions taken by federal immigration enforcement agents, including U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and U.S. Border Patrol, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, that resulted in the deaths of Renée Nicole Good on January 7, 2026, and Alex Jeffrey Pretti on January 24, 2026.
