• Come work as part of a team in the Fighting Fifth District representing clients in misdemeanor, felony, competency and juvenile proceedings. You will receive on the job training and mentoring from the more seasoned attorneys on our team. We will ease you into practice by starting at the Magistrate Court, where you will attend arraignments, pretrial conferences, conduct preliminary hearings, file pretrial motions, negotiate with police and prosecutors to resolve cases in the best manner for the client.  

    Requirements

    Eligibility for a Limited License under New Mexico Law requires a lawyer to be barred and in good standing with another state; an 80 or above on the MPRE, successfully submitting to fitness review and completing six hours of New Mexico law class through the State Bar.  Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply.
