We will be led by guest meetup speaker, Stephanie Thornton. Stephane is NAPD’s Social Work Training & Resources Coordinator and has worked in and around criminal defense and mitigation for more than 20 years in Georgia, Colorado, and West Virginia. In honor of Social Work Month, Stephanne will lead us in a historical review and critical discussion about the whitewashing of social work and its impact on racial & social justice. Don’t miss it!
