We have a special guest this week, Jessica Curci, RN from Godoy Medical.  She’ll be talking about Abusive Head Trauma also known as Shaken Baby Syndrome.

Here’s how they describe it:  … Non-accidental trauma cases involving retinal hemorrhages, intracranial bleeding, and cerebral edema are complex and involve several specialty areas of medicine. Our experts will review the medical records and help determine what kinds of experts may be needed. We will assess for mimics, determine the timeline of injury, and provide opinions about causation.
