Lori Combs has been a registered nurse for over 22 years. Her specific area of focus was emergency medicine, but also included PACU (Recovery Room), telemetry, and primary care clinics. During her emergency department career, she received training in adult sexual assault examinations in Dallas, Texas and performed sexual assault exams for adult and pediatric victims of sexual assault. Lori has also completed two forensic nursing courses and is a Certified Forensic Nurse. She has furthered her forensics training to include nurse death investigation from Houston, Texas, child abuse training, and has obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Crime Scene Investigations.
