Assistant Public Defender, Misdemeanor Trial Division

Under general direction of the Chief Public Defender, is responsible for preparing and trying criminal cases;supervises support staff; conducts legal research; negotiates plea bargain agreements; represents indigentdefendants in criminal cases; and performs related duties as required.
