How We Represent Those People
In our latest podcast we sit down with retired Santa Clara County Public Defender Rod O'Connor. We talked all things public defense including what he does and doesn't miss about the work and the common questions we get at parties about the job, including the most infamous question, "how do you represent those people?" We also traded thoughts on the McCoy v. Louisiana case where a defense attorney conceded his client's guilt during a capital trial despite the client's continued and pronounced proclamations of innocence.
Rod is a true freedom fighter with passion for justice, the indigent and humanity. We hope you enjoy his insights as much as we did.
