Lane Borg is the Executive Director of Metropolitan Public Defenders in Portland, Oregon. He returned to his roots in 2008 at MPD after twenty years away in private practice and employed by the courts. He served on the OSB Ethics Committees, Bar Discipline Board, and Unlawful Practice of Law Committee. Currently, Lane is a member of the State of Oregon Drug and Alcohol Policy Commission and the State of Oregon Public Safety Task Force. Lane is an Adjunct Professor at L&C Law School teaching Trial Practice for 16 years and Ethics for the last seven years. Lane has been President of Oregon Criminal Defense Lawyers Association.
