Development Associate
- Qualifications Include:
• Demonstrated commitment to LAM’s mission and serving marginalized and underserved Marin communities
• At least two (2) years of experience in nonprofit development or in a comparable role with similar essential functions
• Passion for and excitement about mission-driven fundraising and development
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively and respectfully with individuals from diverse backgrounds, including survivors of trauma, discrimination, and systemic marginalization
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and ability to accurately perform detailed work
• Ability to multi-task, be proactive, and work independently
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and meet deadlines
• Excellent computer skills, including familiarity with Salesforce (or comparable donor database), Microsoft Office, and Canva; advanced graphic design skills strongly preferred; willingness to learn new tools and platforms required
• Willingness to accept feedback and engage in professional growth
• Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed to fulfill essential duties
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and vehicle insurance
Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $75,000, dependent on experience and competencies. This is a full-time and exempt position. Benefits include 15 paid holidays; vacation leave; health, dental, vision, and long-term disability insurance; and retirement plan with employer contribution.

On-Site Requirement
This position will require three days per week of on-site work in San Rafael, California. This position may be authorized for remote work two days per week after an initial onboarding and training period, however, candidates must be flexible to increased on-site work when required by their supervisor and to meet organizational goals.
