Assistant Counsel, Parent Representation

Minimum Qualifications: JD degree; admission to, or willingness to seek admission to, the New York State Bar; and five years of experience in the practice of law after admission to the Bar preferred. The ideal candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of relevant substantive and procedural law and rules set forth in the Family Court Act, Social Services Law, CPLR, Standards for Parental Representation in State Intervention Matters, and Statewide Rules of Appellate Practice; a commitment to improving mandated parent representation statewide; and a collegial and collaborative approach to team projects. Experience in Family Court trial-level representation is also desirable.
