North Carolina Parent Defender

• Knowledge of:  Must have extensive knowledge of the law and procedure governing AND/TPR cases in North Carolina. Must have extensive trial and/or appellate experience in AND/TPR cases. Teaching background or experience preferred.
• Skills in:  Must be able to work efficiently under time pressure, and handle and prioritize multiple tasks and projects. Must be able to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and be attentive to detail. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school and an active license to practice law in North Carolina, or eligible for admission by comity.
