SUMMARY:Energy Drink Consumption and Problematic Behavior: A Clinical\, Forensic Mental Health\, and Neurocriminological Perspective
DESCRIPTION:Energy drinks have become increasingly popular in the United States and beyond. There is a diverse selection of energy drinks found on the market. Other relevant topics of interest discussed include prenatal energy drink exposure\, metabolic syndrome\, risk-taking behaviors\, internalizing and externalizing behavioral problems\, co-occurring substance use problems\, central nervous system dysregulation\, food insecurity\, self-control deficits\, and health risk behaviors\, among others. Empirically based research findings will be highlighted throughout this training. \n\n\nJerrod Brown\, Ph.D.\, M.A.\, M.S.\, M.S.\, M.S.\, is a professor\, trainer\, researcher\, and consultant with multiple years of experience teaching collegiate courses.
